Welcome to the Widow Friends.   Annette Wright started this site in 1999 as a small offshoot of WidowNet , a site which helps widows and widowers in their time of grief and regrowth.

The purpose of Widow Friends is to meet one another in the Chat Room and expand our friendships.  Nancy (AthenaDocGoddess) and Michele became volunteer site administrators in May 2004, hoping to continue all Annette's wonderful, hard work.

You can see over 300 WNers at the Widow Friends Photo Gallery. If you would like to share your photo (JPEG or GIF format, 300K or smaller) along with your name, your WN username, and the names of any others in the photo (e.g., loved one, children) to Michele at widowfriends@sbcglobal.net.
